These new two- and three-stage nitrous
systems provide controlled delivery
of nitrous up until the break of traction.
By preceding the secondary hit with
a smaller initial charge, nitrous
delivery can be adjusted to suit the
traction capacities of most vehicles.
- Available
in either 2- or 3-stage bursts
of power, these new systems can
be adjusted to produce the maximum
horsepower the tires allow.
- For
small displacement engines without
upgrades to the engine or driveline,
the twin nozzle system can supply
a modest 50-horsepower hit in
two 25-HP stages.
- For
upgraded small displacement engines
or unmodified V8 engines, select
the appropriate NitrousWorks jets
to match the traction capability.
- Each
nozzle produces additional power
in increments of *25 or 50 or
75 HP.
- Both
two- and three-stage kits are
easily installed in the inlet
tract ahead of the throttle body.
- Wide
Open Throttle switch (provided)
allows nitrous delivery only at
the fully open throttle position.
- Momentary
switch (provided) controls the
activation of the nitrous stages.
- This
new system smoothes cylinder pressures,
eases power spikes, and reduces
driveline shocks and wheel spin
for more consistent ETs.
The
first of their kind, these PowerWing™
systems use a smart technique that
works. The kits comprise: 2 or 3 PowerWing™
nozzles, a selection of calibrated
jets, all mounting and wiring hardware,
plumbing, switches, solenoids and
a 10 lb. capacity bottle.
NOTE: To override the nitrous system
when engine speed exceeds or falls
below preset RPM levels, we recommend
the use of an MSD RPM Activated Window
switch (PN 8956).
NOTE: *Power gains are achieved at
fully open throttle
NOTE: All NitrousWorks kits are designed
and produced for sanctioned racing
events only. |
