THE BG HEAT SINK DISCHARGES COOLER FUEL TO THE ENGINE, PROLONGS FUEL PUMP LIFE, SAVES LOTS OF MONEY, AND IS A VALUABLE ADD-ON TO ANY FUEL SYSTEM SALE

  • The new BG heat sink keeps fuel cool— even with high-output fuel pumps operating in slow traffic conditions or when much idling occurs, the heat will be dissipated, the fuel cooled, and the life of the fuel pump prolonged.
  • This new heat sink is designed to work on highperformance vehicles, whether carbureted or fuel injected, with Flow-through-style fuel pumps (BG Enduro and Sumo). Flow-through-style pump motors are cooled by flowing fuel.

  • The BG Heat Sink can be installed inline on EFI vehicles and on carbureted applications with a diaphragm bypass and return line to the fuel cell.

  • Also, on carbureted applications without a diaphragm bypass and return line, it can be used to great effect inloop. When in-loop, fuel is transferred from the outlet port of the fuel pump, cooled as it travels through the heat sink, and returned to the inlet port of the pump.

  • The BG Heat Sink represents significant savings on carbureted applications: it requires no sump alterations to the fuel tank, no diaphragm bypass, no stainless steel braided return line to the fuel tank, or vent fitting installed on the fuel tank.

  • Equipped with a check-valve arrangement in the outlet port to promote rapid pump priming, this new finned extruded aluminum heat sink has 5.5-inch mounting centers and is available with either –8AN (PN178000) or –10AN PN 178001) fittings.

  • The BG Heat Sink is supplied in a black-anodized finish.
